Spring Brunch

At the Lafeyette Park Hotel....doesn't get much better than this!

Spaghetti!

It was stormy. Brian was out of town. Nana and Papa took Lily and I out to Cuiginis for a hot bowl of Spaghetti. Tiramisu followed, naturally.

A little "Stay-cation"

We bid on a weekend stay at the Claremont Hotel (at a Washington silent auction)...and won!

Lily let Brian and I sleep in-she tiptoed into the bathroom and set up a little homework station!

Having a play-date while staying at the Claremont is awesome!

Fondue Fred is just around the corner...

On day two, Lily and I hung out in the bathroom to give Brian more sleep in time. We took an hour long bath and watched two episodes of the "Brady Bunch."

And then we played Sleeping Queens-the bathroom was so huge that we wheeled in an lounge chair and an ottoman! Gotta love those huge and cozy bathrobes.

Take it apart party!

My friend, Mya, threw a wonderful "take it apart" birthday party for her kiddo, Luka. Brian and Lily had a blast playing with motors, fans, magnets and batteries (from old VCRs, projectors and CD players). What works? What doesn't?

Who would have known that Lily had spent the night vomiting? This little person is so fresh, sweet, positive and charming...always. Bailey was a little worked by the night- she always worries about Lily.
