It was cold, it was raining, and it was wonderful! Family, old friends, new friends, fellow teachers, former students, colleagues, and furry pals joined "Team Lily" this past weekend at the Great Strides-Cystic Fibrosis Foundation fundraising event in San Francisco. We were the biggest (and loudest) team of the pack! The turn out at the event was spectacular (even with the marching through puddles and the inverted umbrellas). In addition, over $150,000 was raised just with the San Francisco event- and there are Great Strides happening all over the Bay...and country! It was a tremendous day, full of tears and hugs. Brian, Lily and I feel so fortunate to have such a strong and loving support group. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
