Seven Wonderful Years

When I woke up, Brian and Lily had a little ceremony planned, complete with fancy clothes, a slide show, a dance floor, guests, music and cupcakes. I know I've said this many times before, but how

lucky am I?

Our little Fishy, continued...

Lily just finished level one of her swim class at Canyon Swim School. She LOVED it. She went from disliking having her hair washed to wanting to wear goggles and hold her breath under our shower head. In the process, she somehow passed level two! We are so proud of her and grateful for this amazing swim school.

We are still very much in the newborn phase, but we are making a ton of progress. Little Bailey is sleeping through the night, sitting 95% of the time when we say "sit," laying down 70% of the time when we say "lay down," starting to get the hang of the leash, and mostly going potty in the appropriate places. We are still working on channeling Bailey's incredible affection for Lily- we are going for sitting next to Lily instead of jumping on/chewing her. At our first vet appointment this week, we were told that we can finally take Bailey out into our backyard! Though we are not quite ready for sidewalk strolls nor dog parks (due to Bailey's young age and the Parvo worry), this was great news as it is a little difficult having all of that puppy energy in our little home. Anyways, all is well in the land of Lily and Bailey.
