Lily's New Cardigan

It is shockingly cute!

Lily, Brian, Lara and their close friends (and newlyweds) Lizzie and Drew spent last weekend hiking and picnicking in Tilden park at Inspiration Point. The weather was perfect, the food was dee-lish and the conversation was wonderful.

As a part of their wedding registry, Lizzie and Drew graciously requested that donations be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Lily was super stoked about this and to see that Drew was wearing his "Team Lily" shirt for the outing.

An entire night with Nanna and Grandpa!

Lily has now spent the night with Nanna and Grandpa on several occasions. Every time, Mama and Dada drag out the goodbyes (knowing how much they are going to miss her) and Lily just tries to wave them away as if to say "let the party start!"

She came up with it on her own. It was a fun morning. We of course had the heater up full blast.

Brian and I aren't quite ready to face the fact that Lily is a big girl and

already in need of her first hair cut. Until we toughen up a tad, she will have to borrow Pebbles' look.

Baba's Physical Therapy Treatment

Now that I am back teaching, Brian and I had a couple of months where our health insurance policies overlapped. We decided to take advantage and purchase Lily's physical therapy machine. She will need a new vest every couple of years, but the machine that runs the vest will be hers for life. At this time, the contraption is still quite scary for her. Until the machine is less intimidating, "Baba" will get his treatments with the vest and Lily will continue to get the manual therapy.
