A team of Berkeley kids put together a smaller-scale "Flash Mob for Hillary" (as done in NYC). Lily was on board from the start and such a trooper.
Enjoy!

Another piece of Lily!
It turns out, Lily has a shocking shortage of space in her mouth. Given that Brian and my mom had a total of twelve adult teeth pulled, the shortage is in her genes. This was the first (of many 😔) extractions. Because it was performed by Dr. Nick, Lily was psyched to go to the dentist. She was all smiles before and after the extraction. When Dr. Nick warned her that there would be a lot of wrestling movements and potentially cracking sounds, she just giggled.
Pieces of Lily
Brian and Lily have been especially helpful with my school year starting. They've helped decorate my classroom, fixed my technology, rearranged furniture...and have left adorable tidbits for me to discover when alone with my students. This is a math problem curtesy of Lily-she worked very hard on it and probably rewrote it a half a dozen times.

We were just about to go caving at Lost River. Mama has no idea what she is getting herself into in this photo. She was about to face her claustrophobia head on! |
There were so many places where we think NH fairies were hiding. |
Mount Washington! |
Did I mention the incredible heat on the trip? Well, it was hot. Really hot. Here you see Lily before a fresh water stream head dunk. |
One heck of a hike! |
The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. |
The Atlantic Ocean! |

Lovelies |
Skipping stones |
Lily's first lobster! |
Success. |
Lily entertained her children in our bathroom every morning so that she didn't wake Brain and I up |
The coolest lake-floaty-island thing ever! |
Things got sort of cray cray after all of the Pepere and Lara birthday celebrations |

As you can imagine, Pepere's hat was super waterproof! |
One of many covered bridges! |
The longest candy counter in the world...112 feet long! Littleon, NH, is adorable! |
Many peaceful rests after long (and steep) hikes. Lily was a trooper! |
That is one relaxed Mama! |
How lucky are we? |
