We continue to explore the East Bay on our bikes. Every time we settle somewhere (and grab a cup of hot cocoa or a cookie), Lily often says "that didn't feel far enough."

Story Time!

A little wetter than normal, but still relaxing...

We are never getting in the car again....

Brian and Lily surprised me with my own set of wheels last week and we haven't been in the car since! Living near the Ohlone Greenway, we have safe and gorgeous access to wonderful grocery stores, cafes, parks and restaurants. Again, we love our new hood!!!

And I love my light blue hot rod ;)

Lily found this praying mantice in the parking lot of Kaiser (of all places!). She was pretty stoked.

A new little friend...

Lily found this little bird on our front stair this morning. Though she missed the company, Lily was happy the bird wasn't still on our porch when we returned from art class ("Mama- if she stays all day,  that probably means she feels no Bueno").

Japanese Tea Gardens in Golden Gate Park

Since Lily's last birthday, she has talked about returning to the Japanese Tea Gardens in Golden Gate Park. The colors were so crisp, the weather was perfect and Lily is positive that there were garden fairies hiding around everywhere.
