Half Moon Bay in February

This weather just keeps getting better and better. We decided to head to the beach again- this time, we went to Half Moon Bay. Before playing in the sand, we drove through the new tunnel at Devil's Slide (it's a piece of art!) and we explored the cliffs that Brian was studying while working on his PhD. I have fond memories of grading math papers at the local coffee shop while Brian down loaded data over a decade ago. Anyways, we spent another glorious day at the beach- throwing a frisbee for Bailey, building sand castles, doing gymnastics and collecting sea glass....164 pieces, to be exact!

Lily got a kick out of this pose.

Bailey did not get a kick out of this one...

We counted our sea glass pieces while eating sushi at a fab local joint. The soy sauce bowl helped out wonderfully. Boy, those blue pieces are rare, aren't they?

Pet Parade!

Lily likes to surprise us with little gifts, notes or scenes when we wake up on weekends. Last weekend, we woke up to a parade of pets! Please note: all of the pets are adoptable except for the black and white dog....

Winter in Point Reyes

Searching for the best spot to put the bucket to use

Lily was stoked to have independently found her fly-away kite up in the dunes

Flowerland

Flowerland is our new favorite spot. It is steps away from our home, it is a garden store (but more like a little oasis), it is uber hound friendly and they sell chai lattes, handmade donuts and Popsicles.
