Thanksgiving with the Cousins

Bath time adorableness

Lily's (MAJOR) crush

Someone had to have passed around a plaid shirt memo, right?

The Collins men!

Lily sported some rosey cheeks all week....who knew it could be so hot in November???

After an incredible trampoline sesh, the Erin, Zane, Joli and Lily happily cooled off in a wind tunnel tube.

"Mama, I love Bailey with all of my heart...but I willy, willy love Nick too."

Lily sandwich! Lily sure is going to miss Auntie Lisa and "Tinkerbeer!"

The things uncles do for the little ones ;)

After dinner cuddle and book sesh...

Benny, Bailey and I enjoyed Lily's reading! Obviously, this was a book (complete with fun inserts) from optometrist grandpa, Pepere.

Home Depot- Trip #97

We've decided that we are always going to bring these two. The outing goes way faster.

Daddy's home from Switzerland!

And we showered him with all sorts of smoochie smoochies!

Furry and Not-So-Furry Friendliness

On Thursdays, when we pick up the girls from school, we've always made a point of bringing the pups. Lily and Zoe will be friends for a long time..... so will Bailey and Sadie.

Ten minutes and counting...

Lily and Bailey spend a lot of time simply cuddling and gazing into each other's eyes. It is quite a cozy sight.

Lily Collins

First grader at Washington Elementary school in Berkeley.

Trooper

The pictures of the Berkeley half marathon and 5k runs are in! Lily busted her tushie in support of the Berkeley Public Schools. Though running isn't her "favorite thing to do" (Lily noted that she would much rather play fairies with Zoe),  she was a genuine trooper with a very positive attitude.

And we're off! We started off with Sonia...and then ate her dust ;)

I was positive that we held hands the ENTIRE race. This must have been in between a sweaty palm switch...

"How far have we gone, Mama?"

I cannot remember if we are walking or running here. The two strides ended up looking shockingly similar.

Finish line!

The announcer actually said "and here comes Lily Collins of Albany...and she is only six years old!"

Gettin' ready!

Dr. Nick gave Lily these two teeth holders. She is STOKED. Don't tell Lily but when we left the dentist office, he whispered to me that it may still be a few more months...

Excited little pookie...

Lily is SO excited to be reading. This note was left for us Sunday morning, near our bed.

Now that Lily has mastered neat handwriting, she is trying out new fonts :)

Strike!

Well, no actual strikes, but lot of giggles. And fun poses.

Not sure what to say here...

Lily's first Day of the Dead project

Rest in peace, fish.

Lily's "Spa"

She gets you cozy, dims the lights, massages you with China Rain lotion and then reads to you. We fall asleep every time. Every single time.

Gearing up...

For the Berkeley Half Marathon (Brian) and for the 5 k (Lily and I) to help raise money for the Berkeley Public Schools!

Chez Gitters!

Lily's first non-Nana/Papa sleepover was a massive success! Thank you Benny, Uncle Josh and Auntie for the yummy food, fun outing, cozy snuggles and for the ridiculous number of giggles!
