Berkeley Kite Festival

Ernie!

Lily met Ernie at the Berkeley Kite Festival. They hit it off immediately.

No More Monkeys Jumping on the Bed!

Whenever I wash and change Lily's bed sheets, she helps me out in her own special way.

Tee hee!

I would have barfed at the idea before we had Lily. But now, it is just too much fun to resist.

There is something so sweet...

about a "big girl" who can still fall asleep on you.

Nom nom...

I know that I've mentioned this before, but I continue to be SO grateful that my family shares my passion for dessert.

One happy (yet sun burned) Dada!

Before traveling back to Oak-town, we always make a stop in Missoula for a few days. We love the food, the parks, the carousel, the festivities, the university campus and the Clark Fork River!

Big Sky Country

Lily loves it.

Wise River Mornings with Nana

Art projects, stories and mountain views...oh my!

Clementine Night Walks

It doesn't get dark until ten o'clock on the ranch. Before bed time, Lily loves to take night strolls and search for bunnies and butterflys. They all come out to wish her sweet dreams.

Boater Chick

Lily has now paddled the Big Hole River on three occasions. She has loved every adventure. She has even successfully taken over the oars (with gentle support from Dada).

Wise River, 2012

For the past month, Lily has been excitedly planning her trip to Montana. Upon arriving to the cabin, "Clementine," Lily wanted to greet Nana and Papa (of course) and then show Benny their swings.

So, we went back to the city....

and Lily got her first fresh mango mochi in front of the Bi-Rite market (you know, after going to Tartine and Delores Park again).

Lily's Lego Wedding

There was an altar. There were flowers. There were guests. It was a beautiful ceremony.

A Sunny day in the Bay

We had no idea that San Francisco could get that hot! Lily lost her pants (and gained a mango smoothie) by mid morning.
We decided to spend the day in San Francisco. We woke up early and headed to Tartine for breakfast. There, we shared an amazing Croque Monsieur, along with a few delightful pastries and espresso drinks served in large bowls. Following our meal, we strolled through the Mission District and eventually made our way to the Bi-Rite market (where we decided that our local Grand Avenue would be a perfect second home for the market). We ended up at Dolores Park. We are now huge fans of Delores Park- the views, the play structures, the rolling hills...it is an amazing place. The day ended with a three hour family nap. Good times.

Lily Loves Ella

and they love to cozy up together in hammocks.
