Lily is a very efficient kid.

She was tired and hungry so she slept while trying to fish out the left over fruit roll up that was stuck in her teeth. It makes sense.

Lily has "Big Girl" Sandals!

She may have "big girl" shoes, but her chubby, yummy toes are still all baby.

Lily's Herb Garden

Strawberries, thyme, oregano, mint....you name it, Lily is sweetly tending to it.

Quiet Coyote

So, Lily has a HUGE crush on my seventh grader, Ava. Ava is a kind little girl with sparkling eyes and Lily took to her immediately (there is also a slight chance that Ava gave Lily a cupcake upon meeting her). Every day when I pick up Lily, she says "how was your day today Mama, DID YOU SEE AVA?" Lily has learned all sorts of tricks from Ava, her favorite is "quiet coyote" (which apparently is a hand gesture used to quiet a classroom full of elementary kiddos). Lily loves the gesture and has incorporated it into her nightly "dance party" moves.

Lily had a green thumb this weekend, literally.

Given our gorgeous 80 degree weather and Lily's ability to get excited about anything and everything, you can imagine how stoked she was to help out in the yard this weekend. She wore her new kid-sized gardening gloves all morning (even when she was naked in between pajama and clothing changes and of course during her snack). Her new kid-sized watering can and gardening tools never left her side.

Have we mentioned lately how wonderful she is?

(Gotta love those Target dollar bins)
