The little girl has a big voice!

Lily LOVES to sing. Though most of her songs are not yet recognizable, they are all song with gusto are all ridiculously sweet.

From Tea Parties to POOL Parties!

Lily now loves to have us remove the bumper from her crib and help make her very own indoor pool. She can spend hours hosting (dressed in a bathing suit and pool robe, of course) in her pool, still serving tea and fish soup.

If I just close my eyes....

they won't see me and they will probably stop asking me to eat my peas.

Shake, shake shake!

Lily's lungs continue to sound squeaky clean!

Surfing in Montana???

We took a little road trip from Wise River to Missoula. There is a section of the Clark's Fork river where kayakers from all around the state come to surf. In no time at all, Brian got the stoke, rented a kayak and jumped in the water. Lily loved watching her Daddy do his tricks (his eskimo roll was especially impressive).

Let the birthday celebrations continue!

Here Lily and Papa are decorating her special cupcakes. She has been talking about celebrating with Nana and Papa for the past month. Every time she has brought it up, she has mentioned wanting sprinkles.

Visiting with Nana

Nana and Papa have been away in Wise River, Montana for the past two months. Lily and Nana have had a lot of catching up to do!

Here they are getting cozy discussing new teeth, favorite eats and politics.

Early Morning Mountain Breakfast with Papa

It's a good thing Mama came in when she did! Lily had greasy fingers and salt on her nose (not to mention a massive grin).

Lily's new monkey booties from Uncle "Moe Moe"

The minute Lily returns home from anywhere, she runs to her room to get her new birthday monkey booties. Before having us put them on her, she gives each monkey a gentle little kiss. Thank you Jereme!

We don't think the binky is going anywhere soon...

The binky fairy has yet to visit our home. You cannot tell from this picture, but there is another binky in her left hand. We better start researching orthodontists!

Tea Parties!

Lily LOVES setting up parties with her little friends. She will take about a half an hour to get the chairs, the placemats, and the furry friends positioned just right. We love the pitter-patter as she runs back and fourth between her room and the dining room for supplies. Once the party is ready to commence, Lily is so pleased with herself and she cannot help but squeal a little. It is so sweet.

Lily Turns Two!

There was cake. There were friends. There were cousins, aunties, uncles and Peperes. There was frosting on cheeks and in hair. There were silly faces. There were also a lot of giggles.
