Life is Good.

Real good.

Stripes, Flowers, Strawberries and Gingham

She's got quite a fashion sense. We love it.

Lily takes Mama's students, Amri and Solomon, to Tilden!

They had a blast. Lily introduced Amri and Solomon to her friend, Morton the cow. They introduced Lily to cotton candy. The day was packed full of giggles (and sticky fingers).

Twins

Yes, I have turned into that mom. I suppose I got tired of hearing how Lily has Brian's hair. Brian's eyes. Brian's coloring.

Actually, it is just a lot of fun. Whenever I grab my stripped shirt, Lily runs to get hers also.

Lily's (Soon to be) Uncle Josh

Auntie and Josh are getting married! We are very excited to have Josh in our lives. He is charming, intelligent, and kind. He makes Auntie very happy. Lily is so excited because she finds Josh to be very patient, silly, gentle and very tall. She has tea parties with him, they have inside jokes and he is always willing to dance the night away with her, blasting Feist and Manu Chao.

Lily's First Balloon!

She has been afraid of them in the past. As of today, however, she adores them. She has walked everywhere with her blue ballon, "boon." Tonight, she kissed it, sang to it and rocked it to bed.

Cousins!

Lily has been waiting patiently to visit with her cousins, Erin, Zane and Joli ("Jo Jo"). We took a week to travel along the California (super sunny!) coast to San Diego this past week. As you can see, Lily was pampered and had an absolute blast.

Who wants to go swimmin'?

Lily hikes the Shelf Road trail in Ojai

Our friend, Cara, recommended that we take a hike in Ojai while on our California coast Spring road trip. She warned us that we'd be hiking along the boarders of orange and avacado orchards, but we had no idea how intoxicating the orange blossoms would be nor did we know that the fruits would be spilling on to the trail! It took a good half an hour in the tub to wash off the super sweet orange juice from our clothes, fingers and chins! Good call, Cara!
We stumbled across a really neat looking five (plus?) foot long snake on the hike, though we think we should keep the pictures private for Auntie's sake.

Lily gets her first Fruit Loop!
