It was wonderfully clear, warm and just delightful. After our hike around the lagoon, Lily spontaneously started clapping at the sight of the ocean. Squealing followed the clapping. Lily loved the feeling of the sea foam in between her toes, Dad was impressed by the rolling dunes, and mom loved all of the creatures they met along their hike. Mom also got sun burned, but that is always expected.
It was a perfect day.
Lily calls Nana! Nana is always willing to sing a song or two to get Lily through a tough time. Occasionally Brian and I will hear harmonica or guitar sounds blasting from Lily's phone- that is when Papa chimes in!
Every Monday morning, Lily takes out her tea set or her coloring set and the girls bond on Lily's very own table and chair set (all from Auntie). It is a special time.
