Lakeshore strolls with Dad
Lily loves to bundle up in Brian's down jacket when he takes her on walks to our local Lakeshore Avenue. You can only imagine how many smiles and comments they get!

Lily visits the Drakes Beach elephant seals!
The Brimhalls bundled up in Grandpa's truck and went for a family day at the beach this weekend. They had a delicious meal at the Drakes Beach cafe, went for a hike up near the tide pools and then visited with the massive elephant seals that have set up camp at the beach. Lily was quite impressed with the seals, but more excited about her nap with Hilary and about sitting in the front passenger seat with Grandpa. Lara had to keep Nanny and Grandpa away from giving Lily licks of their ice cream cones on the return home.

Peek a boo!
Bananas for bananas
We have been worried because now that she has had bananas, she seems to be refusing all other foods! We had to get creative this morning and mix some peas in with the bananas....she didn't seem to mind.
We had another CF clinic this Monday. Lily's doctor, Dr. Shay, said Lily is doing wonderfully. Her lungs still sound great. The only thing we need to work on is her weight (we are supposed to always keep her on the "chunky side" so she will always have some nutrient storage). As we mentioned earlier, she is in the 50th percentile for weight and the 75th percentile for height. Dr. Shay would like Lily's weight percentage to match her height percentage. Lily's nutritionist suggested that we add a little cooking oil to all of her solid foods. Though odd, Lily hasn't really noticed the change. Mom is doing her part by eating all of the creme brulees she can get her hands on!

Lily wears Mama's shoes!
You know how ladies like to share clothes....
Actually, Lily is wearing moccasins that were Lara's when she was little. This past weekend, Nanny brought out a chest of Lara and Hilary's favorite baby goods. It was a treat to go through. Lily loves her new shoes, she really cannot keep her eyes off of them.
